What is the goal of life? To pass on your seed? To make an impact? Are we just some higher being's experiment? Or are we just the means on the way to an end? All of these being questions that will never could be answered. You wanna know if there is a heaven or hell? You have to die, which means you know, but no one living does. And even if we did know, what purpose would it serve? Why do people need to know the answers to everything? What will the answers provide us that will make our lives better? Kids ask why the sky is blue. Sure some scientist will tell you it's because of the mixture of light beaming off of water vapor or something. And some clergyman would tell you it's because God made the sky blue. Why can't we just answer that it's blue because it is. When you look up, you see blue. That's all the answer you need. Knowing why the sky is blue will just fill your mind with stuff that is not needed. Why aren't people satisfied with just admiting that they do not nor will ever know a particular thing? I'm not asking for answers. I don't want answers. What I want is a purpose.

Because people need answers and will find them however they can. For example, I'm trying to find the answer to why I can't stop thinking about how much I'm going to miss you so much next year...

Shawn, you have a purpose. You just have to find it.
